If you like "old-time" country music, there has never been a better package tour than this one inspired by the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack. Performances from Ricky Skaggs, Emmylou Harris, Del McCoury, Alison Krauss & Union Station, Patty Loveless, Rodney Crowell, The Whites, Norman & Nancy Blake, the Soggy Bottom Boys and the Nashville Bluegrass Band would've been waaay more than enough, but when Dr. Ralph Stanley took the stage near the end of the night for a solo a cappella version of "O Death" under a single white spotlight, all time ceased. There was nothing but the voice and the raw existential angst of the spooky song. By the end of the night, all the artists had turned in amazing sets, but those moments with Ralph are what took this show from "special" to "magic."
